Title: CBCT: Anatomy Review with Common Incidental Findings

Abstract

This 90 minute course will offer a comprehensive anatomy review while highlighting common Incidental Findings and suggestions for appropriate documentation.  We will start with traditional lecture to review the anatomy commonly seen in CBCT imaging for dentists.  A methodological stepwise strategy will be offered to avoid missed findings. While each system within the field of view is reviewed, common incidental findings will be discussed with plentiful real life examples. Recommendations for documentation of findings and appropriate referrals will be delivered while viewing examples of the incidentlal findings. To bring it all together and practice our newly refreshed knowledge, participants will engage with a case review workshop to conclude this learning activity.
