This course will review jaw function and mechanics and how the teeth are directly affected by improper mechanics. The content of the course will reveal how the masticatory system thrives or breaks down depending on how the airway, chondylar alignment, and bite relate to each other. Methods to address the pathology of improper function will be introduced as taught in the Orognathic and Bioesthetic curriculum.
