Title: Reaching the Unreached—or Just Reaching the Crowd?

Abstract

Community outreach activities such as health camps, screening and health education can improve healthcare access and awareness, especially in underserved communities in India. However, their impact may be limited by inadequate resources, manpower and follow-up. Overall, outreach activities are useful and feasible when well planned and linked to regular healthcare services. Sustainable community participation and continuity of care are essential for long-term benefits.
