Biography

Dr Chepkurui is a dentist with a strong interest in digital health, health systems innovation, and data-driven approaches to improving care delivery. Her work explores how emerging technologies, interoperable data systems, and novel digital infrastructure can strengthen healthcare access and research capacity in low- and middle-income settings. She is particularly interested in leveraging large-scale biomedical data initiatives, such as gigaTIME, to advance cancer research and improve outcomes for head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Beyond clinical practice, Chepkurui actively develops health technology solutions, including software platforms for healthcare coordination, patient engagement, and clinical workflow optimization, with a focus on scalable tools for African healthcare systems.
