Biography

Natsuko Uchino is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics at the University of Tokyo Hospital, Japan. She graduated from the Department of Dentistry at Tokyo University of Science (formerly Tokyo Medical and Dental University) in 2002 and joined the University of Tokyo's Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics that same year. In 2020, she earned a Ph.D. in Plastic Surgery from Saitama Medical University. She is a Certified Orthodontist through the Japanese Society of Adult Orthodontics and a Certified Instructor with the Japanese Cleft Palate Association, with research interests centered on orthodontics, particularly cleft lip and palate treatment.
